Finding Inspiration in Every Turn

We are deeply saddened to share the passing of our dear friend and co‑founder, Trudy Robb, on 21 January 2026. Trudy was a cherished part of the Adelaide EA Influencer Network (AEAIN) and a remarkable presence within the Executive Assistant community.
As one of our original co‑founders, Trudy’s influence has shaped AEAIN from the very beginning. Even after her early‑onset dementia diagnosis, she remained the heart of our purpose — inspiring us to build a more connected, compassionate, and supportive network.
Earlier this year, AEAIN was mentioned in Trudy’s eulogy. When we met her family and friends afterwards, their faces lit up at the mention of our network. Many told us that this community is her lasting legacy — a moment that made us profoundly proud of what we have all created together.
One of our most meaningful community moments was the Walk for Trudy in November 2024, raising funds for Dementia Australia and for Trudy. We will continue honouring her through future walks, including another planned for September and participation in the City to Bay.
Trudy’s impact lives on in every event we host and every connection we make. In recognition of her extraordinary contribution, the AIOP Award for Advocacy and Community Engagement — received by Mel and Kathryn last year — will now be known as the Trudy Robb Award for Advocacy and Community Engagement. This ongoing dedication is a powerful testament to her legacy.
Those who knew Trudy will remember her kindness, warmth, and unforgettable hugs. And in true Trudy spirit, we continue to raise a glass of her favourite — LOIS — whenever we gather to celebrate her.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to Trudy’s husband Mason, her sons William and Max, her beloved dog Marvin, and all who were touched by her presence. We invite our members to honour her memory and reflect on the lasting influence she had within our network.
Trudy was also a passionate blood donor, often giving during her lunch breaks. In her honour, we encourage those who are able to consider making a donation — a meaningful way to continue the spirit of generosity she embodied so wholeheartedly.
Trudy will be profoundly missed, but her vision and spirit will continue to guide AEAIN always.
