AEAIN 2024 Festive Thank You Event Hosted by Hames Sharley & Catered by Your Say Group December 2024
This week we hosted our last AEAIN event for the year, 𝐀𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐄𝐀 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐥𝐮𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐍𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐅𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐤 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭, along with our incredible partners at Your Say Group. It was our way of saying THANK YOU to our amazing members who have supported AEAIN and attended events during the year🎉
This event was a celebration of the vibrant community we’ve built together. The connections, stories, and support for one another in the Admin Profession space has been truly inspiring. We couldn’t be more proud of how far we've come and the exciting future ahead. 🚀
A major highlight of the evening was the 𝐖𝐚𝐥𝐤 4 𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐝𝐲 𝐫𝐚𝐟𝐟𝐥𝐞, we had the joy of announcing the lucky winners! Thanks to your incredible generosity, we raised over $2,000 for Dementia Australia just from the raffle alone. For those who participated in the walk in November, we’ll send out a wrap-up email soon. 🎁
We want to take a moment to express our heartfelt THANKS to a few key people:
🌟 Carley McBeath for graciously offering the stunning Hames Sharley office as this events venue. The views over Victoria Square and Adelaide were stunning. And Madeleine Steele, Studio Lead at Hames Sharley, for taking the time to speak to our EAs, adding to the success of the evening.

A special shoutout to Damian Hough, the AO's Head Curator, who gave us an insider's look on the turf! We learned what it takes to keep the oval looking so great—even for those watching on TV. It was so engaging that we had to gently encourage attendees to come back from the oval; no one wanted to leave!
And a big thank you to AEAIN members Phoebe Lawrence and Brandi Miller for their awesome suggestion to host us at their workplace. We're a bit jealous of where you work.

Hosted by Your Say Group at their Aurora Skydeck in Pirie St, the AEAIN group heard from a couple of speakers relevant to our profession.
Aurora Skydeck (147 Pirie Street, Adelaide City), is a fantastic venue with stunning views.
Wine tasting and prizes are were on offer for this one.

Administrative Professions Day & AEAIN 1st Birthday
3rd May 2024
Hosted by Hotel Alba, the AEAIN group celebrated Admin Professionals Day. This also coincided with our 1st Birthday.
Was brilliant to see half the attendees were new faces.
April Adelaide EA/PA Admin Connections Lunch
4th April 2024
AEAIN teamed up with the 𝑌𝑜𝑢𝑟 𝑆𝑎𝑦 𝐺𝑟𝑜𝑢𝑝 this month who hosted us at the 𝐆𝐫𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝐇𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐥 for our monthly networking lunch.
We had 30 EA/PA/Admins from across 20 Adelaide businesses attend, which was amazing.

Our first event was an evening event for Admin Professionals Day on 5th May, hosted by Electra House, who showcased their venue and hospitality.

Nov 2023
Our second event held in November at PwC's client space was networking event. We had Lucy Brazier, who was in Australia promoting her book "The Modern Day Assistant", as guest speaker.

The group get together once a month when we don't have an event panned at a different restaurant, pub or cafe to meet and connect.
